Privacy and data handling
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how NutriRangka handles personal data collected through this website and through consultation registrations. It applies to visitors and to clients who book an online nutrition consultation. The site operator is NutriRangka, located at Jl. Jenderal Sudirman No. 150, Medan, Sumatera Utara, 20112, Indonesia.
Data we collect
We collect the information you provide when you register or contact us. For an online consultation that normally means your name, contact details, your general goal for the consultation, and any life stage or dietary details you choose to share — for example whether you are planning meals for a household, managing a long-term condition with your doctor, or adjusting nutrition during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
You decide how much detail to give. You can register and still keep sensitive notes for the consultation itself. Alongside what you type, we collect basic technical data from site visits, such as the pages you viewed, your approximate region, and the device or browser you used. That information arrives through server logs and cookies rather than a form.
Why we collect it
Your details let us match you with a dietitian who suits your goal, arrange the consultation itself, prepare a meal plan you can actually follow, and answer your questions afterwards. Contact details are also how we send you a confirmation and how we reach you if a session needs to move.
Technical data works differently. It tells us whether pages such as the meal planning guide or the consultation topics are being read, whether the site loads properly, and where visitors get stuck. We use it to keep the site available and to decide which pages need clearer writing. We do not build a profile of you from that data.
How we use and share data
Your details are used for the consultation service and nothing else. We share the relevant parts with the dietitian matched to you so that they can read your notes and prepare properly before the session. That dietitian is bound to use the information for your consultation.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your details to advertising networks. We may disclose information where Indonesian law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a public authority. If we ever need to use your information for something beyond the consultation service, we ask you first.
Cookies are limited to keeping the site working and understanding which pages help.
There is no advertising profile built behind it, and browser settings always stay in your hands.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and to understand site usage. A cookie is a small file your browser stores when it loads a page. The functional ones remember simple choices so the site does not ask twice, and the measurement ones count visits and pages so we can see which parts of the site are worth improving.
You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block them, delete existing ones, or warn you before one is set. Blocking the functional set may mean some parts of the site behave differently. The full list, with what each cookie does, sits in our cookie policy.
Retention
We keep registration and consultation records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal or administrative requirements. In practice that means your registration stays while you are an active client, and consultation notes stay long enough to support follow-up questions, resolve any dispute, or satisfy Indonesian bookkeeping rules.
When data is no longer needed for any of those reasons, we remove it. Technical logs are kept on a shorter cycle than consultation records because they are only useful for spotting faults and reading trends over a recent window.
What we keep, and why
- Registration details
- Name, contact details and consultation goal, held while you are a client and for the follow-up period after your last session.
- Consultation records
- Notes and meal plans from your sessions, kept so a dietitian can pick up the thread when you return.
- Technical logs
- Page views and device information on a recent rolling window, then deleted.
Your rights
You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections when something is out of date or wrong, or request deletion where the law allows. Contact us with the request and we will confirm what we can do and how long it takes.
-
Access
Ask what data we hold and receive a copy of it.
-
Correction
Tell us what changed and we update the record.
-
Deletion
Where the law allows, we remove what we no longer need to keep.
Before we act on a request we may need to verify your identity — usually by confirming a detail only you would know from your registration. That step protects your record from being read or deleted by someone else.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold.
No system is entirely secure, and we cannot promise absolute protection.
-
Limited access
Only staff and the matched dietitian who need your record to run the service can open it.
-
Protected transmission
Registration and consultation details travel over an encrypted connection.
-
Regular review
We check who holds access and remove it when a role no longer needs it.
-
Reporting a concern
If something looks wrong with your data, contact us and we investigate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law, and the current version is always the one available on this page. When a revision changes how we handle your data — for example a new purpose for consultation records — we say so plainly in the updated text rather than quietly editing a line. If the change is significant and you are an active client, we tell you directly by the contact details you registered with.
Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, call +62 61 451 2233, write to us at our Medan office, or use the contact page. Our team answers Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Give us enough detail to find your record — the name and contact details you registered with are usually enough.
